Welcome to Seal Swimming

A warm welcome guide for new and returning Seal Swimming families — covering what to bring, how to find your location, how to use the Swim Portal, and what to expect on your first day.

Welcome to Seal Swimming

Congratulations on registering for Seal Swimming. Whether this is your first time with us or you're returning for another session, we're so glad you're here. This guide will walk you through what to expect next and how to make the most of your swimming experience.

1. Check Your Email

Once you've registered through the Swim Portal, you should receive a confirmation email with details about your class day, time, and location. If you don't see it, please check your spam or promotions folder — or contact us and we'll be happy to help.

2. Get Swim-Ready

Here's what your swimmer will need to bring:

  • Swimsuit (well-fitted, comfortable)
  • Towel
  • Goggles (optional but recommended for many levels)
  • Flip flops or pool shoes (for walking on deck)
  • Swim cap (required for long hair)

For younger swimmers, we also recommend:

  • A snug-fitting swim diaper (required for children under 3 or not yet potty trained)
  • A cozy change of clothes for after class

3. Know Where to Go

Each Seal location has its own entrance and procedures. You'll find details about arrival times, parking, and facility access in your confirmation email or by visiting our Locations page. Aim to arrive 10–15 minutes early for your first class so you have time to get settled.

4. Meet Your Swim Teacher

On your first day, our friendly deck staff and swim teachers will greet you and guide you to your class. Feel free to ask questions — we're here to help. Our swim teachers are trained to create a welcoming, safe, and confidence-building experience for every swimmer.

5. Log In Anytime to the Swim Portal

The Swim Portal is your go-to hub for:

  • Checking your class schedule
  • Viewing attendance and progress
  • Requesting make-up lessons (if eligible)
  • Updating your swimmer's information
  • Registering for future sessions

Tip: Bookmark the portal and log in regularly to stay up to date.

6. Stay Connected

Follow us on Instagram and Facebook for updates, water safety tips, swimmer spotlights, and behind-the-scenes content. And don't forget to read your weekly Swim School Update email for important info throughout the session.

7. We're Here for You

Have questions about your swimmer's level, need help with the Swim Portal, or just want to chat about progress? Our team is always happy to support you. Contact us, or speak to our deck staff during your visit.
