Finding the Right Starting Point

Finding the right starting point is key to a great swimming experience — and we're here to help. At Seal Swimming, we offer a range of programs for every age and ability, from babies and beginners to advanced swimmers and teens.

Our online Class Finder makes it easy to figure out which level is the right fit for your swimmer. Just answer a few quick questions about their age, swim experience, and comfort in the water, and we'll guide you to the right class.

Our Programs at a Glance

  • Baby Seal — Parent-and-child classes for babies and toddlers. Builds water confidence through play, song, and gentle water exposure.
  • Seal Pups — For ages 2–4, developing early independence in the water with fun, structured lessons.
  • Swim Stars (Ages 3–5) — Foundational swim skills for preschool-aged children in a nurturing, structured environment.
  • Swim Stars (Ages 5–12) — A 9-stage progressive pathway covering all major strokes, deep water confidence, and endurance.
  • Swim Squads — Advanced training for swimmers ready to push their skills further with technique refinement and fitness.
  • Teen and Adult Swim Training — Goal-based lessons for teens and adults at all levels, from beginner to competitive.
  • Lifeguarding Courses — NLS and Bronze certifications for teens and adults pursuing lifeguarding credentials.
  • Swim Teacher Courses — Professional development pathways for aspiring swim teachers.

What Happens After You Register?

Once you've chosen a program and registered through the Swim Portal, your swimmer will be placed with a group that matches their skill level. Our swim teachers continuously monitor progress, and if a level adjustment is needed, we'll let you know.
