Host Seal Swimming at your pool

Seal Swimming teaches at four Toronto pools today — schools, a community centre and an independent school among them — and can review more warm-water sites.

Several supervised Seal Swimming lessons taking place in an indoor pool.

Why host Seal

A partnership should be clear for operators, practical for staff and useful for families nearby.

  • Revenue in quiet hours

Lessons run in after-school, evening and weekend blocks your pool may already have free; predictable rental income on a fixed schedule.

  • A full team on deck

Certified lifeguards, assistant lifeguards and swim teachers work each shift under a team leader. Your staff are not running our classes.

  • Families who join your building

Many families get to know your facility through their weekly lesson.

  • Safety as a system

Lifesaving Society-certified staff, written safety procedures, closure and communication protocols.

  • One point of contact

One point of contact for scheduling and staffing keeps the work clear.

  • Equipment and admin handled

Seal Swimming brings teaching equipment and runs registration, payments and parent communication through its own systems.

What we look for in a pool

The right fit starts with water, access and a weekly rhythm that families can follow.

  • Indoor, heated pool
  • Warm water suited to babies and beginners — typically 29°C or more.
  • A shallow area or teaching platform for Baby Seal and Seal Pups
  • Lane space or a sectioned area for Swim Stars, Squads and adults
  • A deck area for lifeguard training courses
  • Change rooms and a place for parents to watch
  • Regular weekly access in after-school, evening or weekend blocks
  • Parking or transit nearby

How a partnership works

Simple steps keep the decision practical before families ever see a class time.

  1. 1

You tell us about the pool

Share the address, facility type, pool basics and the blocks that may be available.

  2. 2

We visit and walk the deck with you

Safety, access, timetable and parent flow are checked before anything opens.

  3. 3

We agree a schedule and rental terms

The operating window is set before registration goes live.

  4. 4

We open registration and staff every session

Seal Swimming handles the classes, communication and on-deck team.

Community and enrichment

A pool partnership can support lessons, skill development and leadership training in the same local space.

  • Weekly swim lessons give families a steady reason to visit the facility.
  • Swim Squads and adult training create a path beyond early childhood lessons.
  • Aquatic Leadership courses support the route from swimmer to certified lifeguard or swim teacher.
